Situated in the village of Chippenham just outside the historic racing town of Newmarket, the stud is set in 120 acres of gently undulating countryside and concentrates on breed development and sale of stock.

	Chippenham Lodge Stud was purchased from Major Michael Wyatt in 1983 by the late Mr. James McAllister, who initiated a programme of extensive redevelopment to create a high class private stud.
	A regime of continual selective stock upgrading is a key factor in ensuring that the stud maintains this programme of continuous improvement and development.
